Alternative Wedding Guestbook Ideas

Are you planning on having an alternative means of recording your guests’ well wishes, instead of using a traditional guestbook for your wedding? Here are some unconventional wedding guestbook ideas that your guests will love to put their mark on.

Traditional guest books only allow your guests to enter their name and a quick line for their “congrats” and “best wishes”. Why not go for an alternative, more personal, and creative route by having your guests sign something special that you can then plan on showcasing in your new home?

You can have guests sign your favorite musical instrument, for example, or decorative plates that can later be mounted on your wall. How about a portrait frame or a coffee book with your engagement session photos? In addition to having a guestbook on your wedding day, you can also have your guests sign your personal wedding website guestbook to wish you a happily ever after or share a special memory of you.

I’m doing a quilt. I’ll hand out fabric squares (along with directions not to write too close to the sides) and fabric pens. At some point in the future, I sew them into a wall hanging.
